SCHOOLS PROGRAMME

This programme has been designed to complement the teaching of the Suffolk Agreed RE Syllabus. Bookings will be accepted on a first come first served basis. (Please phone 01379 678615 before 6^th April to book places for your school party)
Each day there will be three 1 hour sessions starting at 9:30am, 11:00am, and 2:00pm.
Monday 14^th May	Meeting Muslims with Manwar Ali and Elahe Mojdehi
Tuesday 15^th May	Meeting Sikhs with Prabjot Kaur and Bhupindar Sually
Wednesday 16^th May	Meeting Hindus with Vinaya Kulkarni and Smita Lale
Thursday 17^th May	Meeting Jews with Elizabeth Sugarman and Beverley Levy
Friday 18^th May	Meeting Buddhists with Jnanamitra and Sanjaya

The Faces of Suffolk Exhibition will also be on display in Eye Parish Church. If you wish to see it at a time when another event is occurring in St Michael’s Church, please go to Eye Parish Church

GENERAL PROGRAMME

Friday 11^th May	7:00pm	Benefice Viewing of ‘Faces of Suffolk’ with cheese and wine reception followed by the evening service of Compline
Saturday 12^th May	12:00 noon	Official Opening by Councillor Sara Michell, (Diversity Portfolio Holder for Mid-Suffolk District Council) and Introduction by Kathleen Ben Rabha Community Affairs Adviser to the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich followed by a Reception
	12:30pm (approx)	Opening Talk ‘The Kingdom of the Wuffingas’ by Terry Smith
Monday to Friday	12:30pm		Faith and Culture Seminar.
	7:00pm	‘My Life and Faith’.
Each day’s speakers (see the Schools Programme) will give talks on aspects of their faiths to which all are invited

Saturday 19^th May	11:00am	with Sylvie Parker and a showing of the video A Gypsy’s Wish
	2:00pm	with Dan Allum and a presentation by The Romany Theatre Company

SUNDAY WORSHIP IN OCCOLD PARISH CHURCH
Sunday 13^th May	11:00am	Public Worship for all Preacher: Graciano Masauso, Followed by a Parish Lunch (please book with the Churchwardens)
Sunday 20^th May	9:30am	Parish Eucharist Preacher: Father Andrew Mitcham

This set of events is being organised by the PCC of St Michael and All Angels, Occold in conjunction with Suffolk Inter-Faith Resource (SIFRE) with financial support from Mid-Suffolk District Council, Suffolk County Council and Suffolk Constabulary. All events are free but contributions to the Church Fabric Fund will be much appreciated.
